We've begun talking about the radical ways Church needs to change, and I think the parking lot might be a great addition to this conversation! This feels exciting to me.
This was an absolutely wonderful read. As a kid I realised that knowing the science behind something beautiful didn't rob it of its inherent enchantment - it just filled me with awe. As I grew older it soon became clear that we've established a largely transactional relationship with nature and each other. It is tragically painful but at the same time it rekindles a childlike enthusiasm in me (and urgency) to pay as much reverence I can to my surroundings and the unity of the human spirit. Because that (to me) is all that matters...focusing on the good stuff and changing what we can change. Thanks for sharing this!
